I don't know whether that old software will have a problem with drivers on
WinXP or not. As for compatibility mode, that applies to the program
executable itself. It changes settings under WinXP to match

Noting to do with time
I know this is a little late, but I was impressed at how my old NTS-100
handles daylight savings.
Instead of them hard-coding dates for the time zones (like so many devices
and operating systems do), when you enable DST it gives you the option to
choose the starting ending times...
Ex: 2nd Sun
I know some of you have hooked up the Austron disciplined oscillator
with a 2100 LORAN receiver to create a LDO. I'd be interesting in
corresponding off-line (no need to bore everyone else) with anyone in
that category.
I have my pair running, but it doesn't seem stable at all -- I get

I've used several pieces of network hardware that almost got this right.
They allowed you to enter start and end dates, but only by calendar date.
You couldn't say 2nd Sun or such. That made the feature useless. I wonder
why they bothered?

Hi Joseph:
I can guess why they did it like that. In order to get the day of the week you
need to be able to correctly calculate leap years (rules for 4, 100 and 400
years) and in addition need Zeller's congruence to get the DOW. Guess how I
know this.

I have not been following this thread but I noticed some discussion of dual
boot. Virtualization options now exist that will allow a host system, be it
Linux or Windows, to run other operating system as images simultaneously.
You are limited mostly by memory on the host system so this would not
Yep, you missed where I also recommended just that possibility.
