Hi Perry,
I have done the exercise on another book.
The copyright holder released the material under Creative Commons

content.
We put it on github and from the OCR original I did a translation into

It was not my intent to suggest that Perry should continue the work using Latex.
I was merely considering the most effective and efficient way to complete this
undertaking, whoever elects to pick it up.
The original is written in English so an extensive knowledge of French isn't

Perry has apparently reached a major change in his life, perhaps because

Latex really is the only way to go. It is the de facto standard and not all
that hard to learn. My spouse and I have used it extensively for more than
15 years, constructing some fairly arcane formulae in quantum theory.

Since we talk background noise and white noise, the amplitude is the

Hi
Just as with PM noise, AM noise is a “that depends” sort of thing. The first
dependency is on your test gear. If the AM noise was well below the PM
noise, would you be able to measure it? Equally, if you are doing something
like a diode detector - can it measure AM below XXX dbc? If the dete
Hi,
I am currently looking at noise calculations that deal with AM and PM noise.
To check whether the calculations make sense, I am looking for some numbers
of the white noise floor AM and PM noise levels of signal sources.
Unfortunately, almost everyone only deals with PM noise and hardly

Do not seem to find it on the the KO4BB site at least yet.

Gentlemen,
I have assembled (what I hope is) an improved version of theA7 AC Amplifier of
the HP5065A. It has been installed inmy (1968) model of the 5065A and it is
working.
The documentation has been uploaded to the KO4BB manual site.

FWIW, for me the hardest part of working with Stable32 is getting the
input scaling and other parameters like timestamps correct. If you
think like a mathematician, you'll probably do fine. But I don't, and
when working in particular with frequency data it always takes me a few
tries to get i

When I first started using Stable32 I tried to document each step. See examples

Thank you for informing us about Stable32. I have been busy downloading
details.
I was surprised by the size of the use manual at some 348 pages.
I believe I have a very long way to. I suspect we need a Stable32 for
dummies book.

Hi,
Very cool. That I ended up paying for my copy is another thing.
Now, the code needs to be maintained. I personally also would like to
see it run natively on Linux, it does run on Linux under Wine.
The best way to maintain the code would be for UFFC to put it on github,
preferably with a suit
Very interesting news.
It would be nice to be able to set the RS232 port to work with the TICC in
real time.

Happy New Year!
Maybe this is of interest for some of you:
A copy of Stable32 was on my wish-list for Christmas and I asked for the
possibility of a non-profit-license. Bill Riley informed me that he
donated Stable32 to IEEE UFFC and it will be available for free download
