I know that some of you have X10 synthesizers so I hope this isn't too
far off-topic.
The manual shows that the frequency decade the unit covers is determined
by the PFF module. This module is nothing more than a 4-stage passive
filter (might be described as a helical filter - not sure) that
Ed, I've thought about moving my 10 - 20 MHz unit as well. At one
point, I contacted PTS and they confirmed that the unit could be
modified by changing the filter module(s) -- not sure if there was more
than one. They quoted a couple of hundred dollars to make the change,
so I didn't pursue
