Is there any mean by which i can include assembly code as a part of the application code? I am looking for this option so that i dont have to use the JTAG based approach to download the application code onto the motes. Any idea? I was thinking of directly writing assembly code to do the same.

For example, i would like to input a bit through SI in the rising edge of the clock and get the output SO in the falling edge of the clock. Assembly gives more control over the bit level behavior. right? On Mon, May 16, 2011 at 12:23 AM, Prasanna Karthik V prasannakart...@cse.iitb.ac.in wrote:

Hello, This is Harsha. I am using TinyOS-2.1.1, on Ubuntu 9.1 I am trying to add a new hardware with CC2520 as the radio and MSP430 as the controller which is similar to the telosb mote. I am not getting a way to read/write a radio register which confirms the working of SPI

Have a look through the doc/tutorial and the demo programs. I don't think there is a specific demo that sends between two re-Motes, other than the mesh type things, but you should find enough info to get it going. MS amel leyla wrote: Hi everyone , I use tinyos 1.x now to simulate my program

When i send a byte, the radio doesnt respond to it. I thought working at bit level might be easy and helpful in finding the problem. But, it looks like i have to dig into MSP430 details. If my guess is right, it has got something to do with the pull up resistors. I'd better try solving that.
