Just an update about my request from yesterday. Dennis Goff suggested looking
for event recorders and this was definitely good advice, with one proviso: add
the term behavior. Adding that improved the search results significantly.

I find you can get all of these features in a small MIDI keyboard with a
sequencer. Works very well for behavioral observation. Also for real time
self-reporting of emotions, etc.

One nice but seldom used feature is that you can provide the end of the
tinyurl, if you prefer, instead of just allowing it to be a random sequence of
