Hello TIPSters,
I'm looking for recommendations for a textbook and/or other references for a
course in Treatment of Psychological Disorders. I'll be covering
cognitive-behavioral, group, humanistic, psychiatric/medical, psychodynamic
and systemic approaches from a bio-psycho-social perspective.
Hi all,
I will be teaching a Psychology of Gender class in the Spring, which I have
never taught before. I am very excited to try something new (I am in the
developmental psyc field), but I would greatly appreciate textbook
suggestions and/or any general advice from those who have experience
I am reminded of the work of musical composer David Rosenboom 30+ years ago
where he attempted to eliminate the middle-man of the musical instrument by
having synthesizers directly play the music imagined by the performer as
calculated from the EEG. Interesting results can be heard in his album
Of course, this could be an idea planted by the Higgs-Boson particle to mislead
us (or did we just loose the little whippersnapper!).
