It sounds very much like a MS/TM thing to me. And yes stress and being tired
can make it even worse. Call your neuro. see what he has to say. Let me know

Ever since TM hit I have had episodes of twitching. I have had them effect
my tongue, my butt cheek, face, arm, just about anywhere. It will seem to
choose a spot and stay there a bit. Then months and sometimes months will go
by without any significant twitching. I have no idea what triggers it.
