TM. I do have braces that I must admit I haven't been faithfully wearing
them lately. I was told they would help me with my balance, but they are a
pain to put on and take off. But you have shamed me into wearing them agan

without cane/walker but I do use a cane when I gol out. I am able to walk
around most stores hangingj on to the cart but if I go to stores where I
have to do a lot of walking I take my electric scooter and then I can power

Lost the use of everything from shoulder blades to toes. Spent 9 weeks in the
hospital, much of it with physical therapy mixed with blood, sweat, and tears.
Then after coming home, more therapy
and exercising, such as it was. It has been 5 years now and I walk with a

Jim, June 2005, I went to bed with severe pins and needles feeling in my right
leg. When I woke up, it was as limp as a noodle. I was admitted through the
ER and received IV steroids, I think it was 9 hours. During my 5 week stay in
the hospital, I received intensive PT. About 3 weeks
toward its citizens.

I regained all but about 20% on my left leg. Took about a year
Episode #2, lost use of left leg, but can now walk with brace and

James, I don't know how long you have had tm, so it's hard to even guess what
might be happening for you.
It would appear that recovery is broken into thirds. One third have complete
or near to recovery. One third some amount of recovery, in varying degrees. One
third have no recovery.

swinging from the hip and I didn't get far. After steroids I was very weak,
and couldn't tolerate any weight or get far for about 4 months. then I had a
complete recovery over about a year except for occassional fatigue
