Try this:

response.setHeader("Pragma", "no-cache");
if( request.getProtocol().equals("HTTP/1.1") ) {
response.setHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
}
%
I hope it helps.
It worked for me.

OOPS!
Sorry about all the repeat mail from me.
I just relocated / reconfigured / upgraded my mail server.
Didn't realize it had buffered up all the previous failed sends and was going
to blast them out as soon as every thing was correctly re-configured.
Sorry,
Rick

After installing Tomcat 3.2.1-1 from the RPM it seems that
apachectl (and everything else) has moved from /usr/local/apache/bin/ to
/usr/local/apache/proxy/bin.
Is it supposed to do this? My scripts for restarting, etc are
now all wrong?
Richard
know why this is happening and/or where I can get this
file?

Did you include :8080 in the URL? Otherwise Apache will look for the
examples on the httpd path. Check the httpd error_log and see what the
full url is.

You can get the O'Reilly servlet package which has what you are looking

if you have any servlet that throws an uncought exception on startup it screws up the main process which results in shutdown.sh not working.

Thanks for your reply. Tried what you suggested, but it didn't work.
Shouldn't I have two DOS windows on my machine after I type startup (I don't

index.html in the URL? Gonna be out

Don't stray to far, you will find yourself all on your own.
All in all. I am happy with PostgreSQL. Looking forward to seeing it mature a
little bit. Once that happens, I expect it to shake up the industry a bit.
Much like Linux is doing now.

Does anyone have any help on access logging?
I need to track site stats, but don't get useful access info in my
tomcat.log file. Is there a special verbosity that gives "normal"
access info, like Apache?
Many thanks!

This solution has each user run their own version of tomcat. Doesn't this
cause extra overhead. Ten users would be running ten JVMs.
Is it possible to run just run one JVM and map servlets and jsp files as a
mime type that Apache sends over to Tomcat?
Thanks,
