Anyone know if jakarta entries in netscape's obj.conf file is equivalent to entries in
the uriworkermap.properties file when integrating with IIS and Apache?
Thanks,
Dave

I haven't played with apache and IIS. But I do know
a fair amount about the iPlanet integration.
If you have a more specific question then just forward
it.
I hope that I can help.

Hi,
We have a website running on Netscape Enterprise Server ( ver 3.63 ). So
far we have been having only static content on the site. Now the new
requirements need that we use JSPs as well. We are looking at integrating
Tomcat with the existing installation of NES 3.63. The webserver is running
Hello all,
I made a little progress in my efforts to port my application from NT to tomcat but
now I'm really worried.
My first JavaScript in the application doesn't work the way it used to. I know it
sounds strange but the application works on NT/JRun with both iexplorer and Netscape
Leila,
If you JavaScript does not work, you need to contact someone who focuses in
that area, i.e. a different list. I don't mean to be rude, but whether or
not JavaScript works obviously has nothing really to do with the server.

Can upload text files, binary files fail and stderr.log says:
IOException: Connection aborted by peer: socket write error
I don't know if that means that the connection to the client's browser failed or
possibly the connection to Netscape Server failed. Like I said, this only happens
I'm locked into Netscape Server for the moment.
I can upload text-files fine with jspsmartupload, but when I try to upload binaries it
fails. Exact same code works on Tomcat/IIS server, but does not work on Netscape
Server.
Thought it might have something to do with a proxy, but it didn't.
Greetings,
I'm responsible for the Tomcat installation/implementation for our team and
product. The current Tomcat document for Netscape web server integration
makes mention only of Netscape Enterprise Server versions 3.0 and 3.61.
According to the Netscape site, version 3.6 went to End of Life
in Netscape Server or Tomcat
Servlet Engine. I think i need to install into tomcat because
webserver just forwarding its request to tomcat without doing any
validation. Could you any one tell me whether it is correct or
wrong?
You are wrong :-).
Generally, when you are using a servlet container
