Is there anyone on the list who can explain what jtc.jar is for and
what it replaces. I read some where that it replaces tomcat-ajp.jar,
tomcat-util.jar tomcat-coyote.jar and tomcat-http11.jar. Is this true
or do you need the other jar files to implement direct connections into
Tomcat. If
I'm getting a strange error when starting apache 2.0.43 running on Redhat Linux 8.0
mod_jk2 version 2.0.2. Here is what apache reports:
[Tue Dec 10 18:30:29 2002] [error] config.update(): Can't find config file
/etc/httpd/conf/workers2.properties
[Tue Dec 10 18:30:29 2002] [error] shm.init():
This seems to me a large problem with this particular project. There isn't enough
clear documentation on setting up and installing mod_jk2. I posted a problem a while
back that no one has responded to yet. Perhaps because no one in the know saw the
post or perhaps I was just unclear. If the
Does anyone know who's in charge of Mod_jk2 development and how to reach them via

Hi Don,
Youre the first response I've got. I'm using Redhat 8.0 and the software will
sucessfully build under Redhat 8.0. I haven't gotten it working yet but I believe
this is a configuration mistake on my part and not a build problem. If you do indeed
get this working please let me know

Subject: Apache Tomcat with Apache 1.3.27 or 2.0.43
Is it possible to open a JSP file through Apache HTTP 1.3.27 or
not found error. I was under the impression that
mod_jk2 would redirect to tomcat and serve the JSP file. Can anyone shed some light
on the misconfiguration.

Theo
