Anyone compared the digital output on the touch vs. any of the Bolder
mods. I have a Bolder modded SB duet receiver, and am not convinced
that it made much difference. With that said, if I sold that for a
Touch would I gain anything possibly?

I just found a reason why you would want a Controller with your SBR. If
you use the Squeezebox Server to control the playback volume it will
give you only ten steps from zero to maximum. With the controller (or an
iPeng) you get the full 100-steps resolution. Since I fully depend on

I have loads of FLAC music files on my PC and backed up on a USB
external drive that is permanently connected to the PC. I have a SB
Touch on pre-order and this Christmas I received an iPod Touch as a
surprise pressy. I have heard a little about iPeng and understand that
it can function a
