I have a car radio with USB, where i can put my USB Flash Drive into
with all the Sound on it which i actually like the most.
I bought the Squeezebox Touch because i thought i could take the same

Thanks a lot for your reply. I'm just an ordinary user, which makes SSH
and similar tweaks just too much for me. However I believe that your
answer will be useful for other users.

Glad to hear you have an open mind after spending money that you
probably didn't need to. The Touch has internal switchers inside it

After decoding flac back to wav, the tracks are playing smoothly now!
A higher FLAC compression level increases the chances of stuttering.
The typical default of 5 should work pretty well, and a compression
level of 8 increases the chances of stuttering.

Hello everybody,
I am now 3 days the proud owner of a Touch, i'm very happy with it but
there is one thing taht i miss, or do not know how it works.
If a play a song, and meanwhile i search for another song, and found
it, i want to put it in a sort af playlist so that i can create a
playlist on
Press-n-hold the name of the song and it will pop up a list of things to
do with it. You can 'add to playlist' or 'play next' to put it at the
end of the playlist or, well, next in the playlist.

I thought the LT1064 was out of production for quite some time. Is
there a replacement that you know will provide the same performance in
this circuit?
Its the LT1084, very much still in production. I just checked
Can you be more specific about your steps and what precisely you see on
the screen? This should work, and it would help if you could provide
more details.
Also, could you list the manufacturer and model of USB drive? It would
be helpful if you listed the contents of the USB drive also -- how
This is great, yees it works,
Thank you very much for your quick reply

Greetings from a new member.
I have been lurking here for a while trying to decide whether to get a

it's probably not as good as Transporter. The question is whether the
difference would be worth $700. Perhaps the DAC on the
I have managed to fix it, by swapping the music files to an external
