For the Now Playing screen there are the standard ones plus some third
party artwork to them that can be installed through the third party
Patch Installer applet.
As screen savers you can make a customized VU meter or spectrum
analyzer with the third party Custom Clock applet and configure it
Glad it's working correctly, at least connecting to MySB.
If it is asking for a MySB account on the NAS then your NAS SBS either
has no MySB login info or an incorrect login.
Follow the instructions it gave and add/edit/verify your MySB login
info.

It looks like it only supplies 2A I thought that would not be enough?
I am also still interested in any power supplies such as the one above
that can be bought in

That's correct, because you can't run plugins if you're using the SB
Touch's built-in server (TinySBS). You can't run plugins on
mysqueezebox.com either. You can only run plugins on a computer or NAS
running SBS.
However, you can run applets on the SB Touch, so that's

I just re-read your post and you mention the ability to be attached to
a local network. This can still be done by using an ethernet cable
between the SB Touch and the laptop
Ok I'll try the third party app
thanks

Think more outside of the box. I use a 12V to 5V 4Amp DC/DC power supply
that is wired to a switched hot IE key must be in the Start/On position
for the Touch to draw power. No battery draw unless driving. I have had
no issues using Toshiba USB powered USB Drives.
So that's my problem after installing last update, I cant see no cover
art which I could see in the firmware 7.5 version
Is there anybody with the same problem?
Any way to solve it?
thank you very much

Do you have details on the flash drives you have problems with?
Manufacturer, model, capacity, etc. This info will help us reproduce
issues and fix them.

Sorry to pester you, but did you see the link I posted on the last page.
I would value your view on whether that might work for those of us too

When I try to clear and rescan it appears a screen on the squeezebox
touch which say clearing library during a pretty long time until it
turns off, but it results that it didn' clear at all, because I keep
having the same problem, cover art doesn't show up

hmmm,
Hi there!

Being a network device they assume you have a network, just as they
assume you already have music (also not included in the box). ;)
To be honest, when I bought my SB3 in 2008 I didn't have ANY
music-files. And then spend long days (and nights) ripping them.

will power the Touch, assuming power-consuming USB peripherals are not
being used. However I really cannot say if it will
That PS is probably going to get very hot. In a linear PS the raw
voltage before the regulator has to be some voltage above the regulated
voltage. In this design it has to be somewhat greater than 24V, the max
for this supply. Since you will only be using 5V out, the whole rest of
that voltage

The switcher that came with the SB3 was very poor. It radiated a lot of

There was some going into the SB3 as well, but my findings were that
