I prefer to control my Touch from my PC.
Mostly using squeezebox.com for internet radio.
to switch to my music library, used to go to
http://mysqueezebox.com/player/viewPlayers and disconnect.
always worked fine with my classic, does NOT with my Touch.
quite annoying, have to get up up, go
Works for me using IE7, but it did take two attempts clicking
Disconnect.

You don't need to go to MySqueezebox.com for anything if you are using a
PC - control everything from the PC via the Web/SBS UI.
I listen to Internet radio a lot and I've never been to
MySqueezebox.com.

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't
This problem has nothing to do with your router etc. The real reason is
that SBS tries to determine your DNS server at startup, and if it fails
to do so (e.g. due to networking not being up yet), if you are using a
non-Windows server all future DNS requests will fail, too.
This is rather
I have a SB Boom that's been connected to my SB server just fine. All on
the latest versions.
I bought a SB Touch and it connects to mysqueezebox.com, when i go into
the web interfsce for SB server , it shows the SB touch in the pull down
list. When I click on it it asks if I want it to connect
That's a bug. You can't switch the Touch or Radio from mysqueezebox.com
to the local server using the web interface.

You'll have to switch through the Touch's own interface by navigating
into My Music.

I m not a big playlist guy. I like to listen to a whole CD so I have not
created many playlists. Last week I created 2 playlists and saved them
using iPeng. This week I went to play one and they were both gone. I
have a SBT and VBA.

Hi,
I would like some advice here:
I have a Touch running on 7.6.0 firmware, connected to a squeezebox
server 7.6.0 running on a DNS-323 NAS. A few days ago i bought a
Synology DS211+ and i am now trying to migrate my Touch. Synology
delivers a nice grab-and-go Squeezebox server package,
After upgrading my BB connection to 30mb with Virgin media, I have
been having Rebuffering problems playing Flac files, both 16/44 and
24/96.
I run the Touch wired to a fast Server (quad core 12mb ram) so server
performance not the issue.
I use the combined VM Superhub cable modem/router,
As above; when I launch the app and hit any of the options I get EMPTY
displayed...
May be linked to my Network Health problem (ping issue possibly?), or
it may be something else..
Any ideas?
Just getting into exploring the food radio stations out there and
Shoutcast seems the best way to
It's a known issue with ShoutCast, that message (and others) come and
go.
Also, if you set a Bitrate Limit in ShoutCast it could be your search
or genre selection has no streams at higher bitrates.
Can you play non-ShoutCast streams?

Strange, I thought it would just connect and automatically load the
older firmware.
I've never used it, but you can supposedly place a copy of the firmware
on a USB stick or SD card (in the root directory) and the Touch will
update to it. You can download the current 7.5.4 firmware 'from here'
Yeah,
no problem playing other streams.
