I think a monitor out is unlikely - because it wouldn't be a
touchscreen, and that would reduce the function of an external screen
significantly.

Try downloading the firmware from
http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/ and saving it on a USB
stick or a SD card. Note that you want the filename that begins with
'fab4' and ends with '.bin'. Take note of the release number (eg,
r9408). Then insert the USB stick or SD card in the Touch.
I evetually found that I had mp3 versions in my Apple Lossless files so
I deleted them and everything is OK

Hi, first post on these forums. I've been using jstraw's excellent
vintage TEAC vu meters since purchasing my Touch over a year ago.
Unfortunately I can no longer see them hosted on his patch repository
and wondered if there was any way of getting hold of them again since
the latest firmware
