Was wondering if anyone has experience comparing the Touch to the
Transporter on the digital out (I'll be using a DAC with either, even
though I understand both have solid DACs, I have a fairly good one I
like already). If there's sufficient difference I would consider
spending the extra money on

Hi,
I have a squeezebox Touch and squeezebox server V 7.7
I've installed the "Patch Installer applet" on my SQ touch but i can't
find the "patch volume lock 100%".
I wanted to fix the volume and use the plugin for denon amplifier.

dutch and french).

It seems odd, and not really normal in English, to refer to the SBT's
case as the "box"; I'm fairly sure this doesn't refer to just the
packaging though.

Erland's CoverFlow applet will act as a screensaver, but not as a UI on
the Touch for browsing albums. If I remember correctly, he looked into
incorporating album browsing, but found he couldn't get it to work
smoothly enough on the Touch to be worthwhile.

I have found a way to make the missing files show up and play :-)
I have no idea why but if I make a new folder and copy the files to
that folder it works great
If anyone knows why this works I would be interested to know.
But,
It's working great and I am delighted.
Thanks again everyone.

Yes, poor tagging (as is evident in this thread), fewer codecs
supported (no FLAC), and not considered a good accurate ripper.
If you are serious about good quality rips it is best to use a better
ripping program like

At this price, a steal - I've just ordered one too, as my Duet handset
is about dead these days - battery lasts only a second or two, and
screen very dim.
I don't understand where the extra £15 discount came from either!
Plus I ordered via quidco link so another 1.5% off or so in cashback.
