I've been happily using my squeezebox for a few weeks but yesterday I
encountered a problem. I can no longer list my music. When I go to My
Music on my Touch it says Connecting... and eventually times out
saying it cannot connect to the server.
I can connect to the server from my laptop,
I've been storming the forums trying to find a repository or link to a
bunch of Squeezebox Touch wallpapers. I can't even find the size I
should be looking for for images either.
Can someone point me to a thread with squeezebox touch wallpapers and
or let me know of the dimensions I should be

Maiden, Van Halen, a Star Trek, a couple of cool computer art and 1
Ricky Gervais animated show wallpapers and resized them. They work

wireless devices with no issues.
I have recently upgraded to a D-Link DIR_655 Xtreme N gigabit router,
with the same devices. The squeezebox connects just fine

I'd recommend checking for a firmware update for the router, as well as
D-Link's forums (assuming they have them) to see if this is a common
complaint. Just because it's new doesn't mean it's fault-free.

Anybody using a Squeezebox Touch with a Buffalo Linkstation? My
linkstation has Squeezebox Server fatory installed and the Squeezebox
can see the NAS but cannot see the music files (FLAC) which I've placed
in the share folder. Any advice or comment form anyone? Thanks.

HI, new to forum, I have a SBT on the way to me and I need some advice
on what is the best way to set up the the SBT without having the pc on
to play music and using and accessing all the radio stations, I am
guessing it is a stand alone server ie like a NAS or something like it,

It sounds weird to me. I would try a factory reset of the touch.

Thank you all for your suggestions - I promise to try your ideas soon,
post back anything I find. I certainly don't think there are any
significant interfering networks - only a DECT 6.0 phone system (1.9
GHz). But... will continue to experiment, thanks for your collective
help!

OK...that's a bit embarrassing. After running Wireshark to try to
diagnose the problem further, I discovered that it was indeed a
firewall problem. It appears hitting the Disable button in the
default Fedora firewall configuration GUI tool, does not actually
disable the firewall until you hit
if you have an old desktop pc, you can certainly run the server on it.
but for me, it was the kill-2-birds-with-1-stone solution of network
storage (Synology DS210j). very cost-effective (around $200) and
supports LMS currently at v7.6.1.
i've had it close to a year or so and nary a single
DECT 6.0 causes no problems for me. So that's not likely it.

- 1 Ambient light sensor
- 1 IR Reciever
