My touch keeps losing time when using the internal touch server. This affect all devices connected to the touch. So when using a squeezebox radio as an alarm the alarm becomes unreliable and begins triggering the annoying backup alarm. As a temporary solution I have connected the touch directly

Thanks for the help guys. I don't really see any reason to keep my SBT and I think about ask logitech for a refund. I bought a product supposed to play 24/96 files (at least from USB) and unfortunately this is not true. Logitech should precise that. For me there is no comparison between a NAS ru

Only convert the hirez files ? They can be no more than 0,5% of the collection anyway ? PC does not need to be on whole day, wake on lan and powermanagment fixes that. And just turn it off at nigth Or get more powerfull NAS . -- Mnyb --

That is the answer i was afraid to hear. I don't want to let my PC swithed on all the day and I don't want to use FLAC because it means converting all my files and in addition it is not compatible with itunes which is fine to manage my library. I'm not very happy with this squeezebox in the end.
