Based on Mark's feedback I've updated the Usb Audio Output applet to
version 0.6. This should now support detection and selection of dacs
wanting 32bit samples. This is working for Mark with kernel #4 to
support uac 2 dacs. Anyone else with a uac 2 dac may wish to try this
combination and post

The way my Touch is installed the power supply is not easily accessible.
Sometimes I think it would be nice to take my Touch to play in my
bedroom rig but it is not easy swopping the power adapter over.
So I thought it would be worth it to buy another power supply for the
bedroom. I am not
They can work provided that you never connect any drive to the usb Touch
is also 5v same contact but more amps to be able to run drives of the
usb.
But why not another original Touch ps from logitech ?
Logitechs site is a bit hopeless to navigate but there are power
suplies for sale
PN
The files are 320kb 48.0kHz that won't play. I don't know if I have
other 48.0kz files, but the hundreds of other albums I have play fine.
All I did to the unit that use to work was enter mysqueezebox.com login
I think. Not much to change on the Touch side of things.

Cheers thanks for that !
I spent about half an hour before your post looking on the Logitech
site to no avail. They really need to do something about the search
facilities on that site - must be missing out on lots of sales.

..yes true - I have been tempted to do that today as Logitech have an
offer of £129 for a blemished box - but perhaps a little extravagant me
thinks !

What exactly is much better ?
...have to say the experience of driving the Touch from my tablet with
Commander just feels slicker / nicer than the free app. Maybe it's just
me - but that's my experience anyways.

Is it possible to rip a CD on my PC to the drive I have attached to my
Touch?
It would be nice not to have to carry the drive back and forth every
time I want to add more music.

If they are on the same network , Touch has smb sharing (samba ) so it
should be available trough your network .

I can log into the Touch with PuTTY from my PC, so it's definitely on
the network.
When you click Enable Sharing, is anything supposed to happen other
than the little box filling in?

OK, it sort of works. Windows can't see the Touch at \\squeezeboxtouch\
and I can't map it to a drive, but I can save to the Touch's USB drive
using \\IP address\drive name\libary directory.
