Thats a strange limitation that SP will not receive 192 PCM. Is that an

It needs a change to lms and

On the DAC info page I don't see the Momentary freq changing (it is

Looks like 176/192

Look at the bug report. Since it can be played using a server based
decoder and not with the Touch native decoder - the problem is the
decoder used in Touch and Radio. At a guess
Hello,
I'm experiencing issues with a Squeezebox Touch connected to a Rotel

I have a SqueezeBox Touch connected via digital toslink directly to the
Rotel (I've also tried coax digital). There is no analog connection
made.

Perhaps you could borrow a different DAC to test if it's your Touch or
your DAC that has the problem.

Ok. I got it solved.
Recreated the playlist in winamp. SCP'd the file into STB. Accessed the

I kept the playlists in /media/sda1/songs/playlist. None of the

I posted in the bug, the problem is files with their MP4 metadata at the
end of the file cannot be decoded by the player because it is streaming
the file and does not have access to this metadata when it needs it.

Just to cover all the bases, have you tried connecting the Touch's
analog outs to the Rotel's analog inputs (via standard RCA cables)? If
your problem goes away, then you've further isolated things.

OK, I just connected the Squeezebox to the analog inputs of the Rotel.
All files played correctly. So, it must be the DAC in the Rotel
correct?

Glad to hear that might be a solution. I don't know if your how your
