Thanks for your reply and sorry for lack of info. Just running the
latest version of squeezecentre through a readynas duo. I think I have
already solved the problem though. I just reinstalled the squeezebox
software onto the touch and it seems to have done the trick. Don't ask
me how! :-/
Thanks

What OS, and exactly how are you restarting LMS? On Linux I don't notice
any difference between restarting LMS vs rebooting the pc.

OK I have now also rebooted my PC and the problem appears to be fixed.
Earlier I had tried exiting LMS and restarting it but this did NOT fix
the the problem. I noticed when you do this LMS reloads quicker than
when it the PC reboots. When I reboot the LMS is flashing for a fair
while as the soft
What kind of server & network are you using? The first thing I'd try is
rebooting the router, the server and the touch. But it's hard to
pinpoint without more info about your system.

Afraid that means the linux kernel probably doesn't support your dac at
present. Can you PM me your email address and I will look at the code
to see if there is anything we can do about this.

Tried rebooting my router - but still the same.
LMS on my PC is v7.7.1 whilst the Touch is v7.7.2

Is the dac selected as the output device? Is there anything in
/var/log/messages which indicates a problem when starting up?

Hi guys hope you can help. I'm pulling my hair out at the minute.
I have just spent over a month ripping my collection, and using my
squeezebox without any problems in between mass ripping sessions.
Finally got everything ripped last night, rescanned my library, and all
of a sudden my squeezebo

Yes - all reports of uac2 dacs seem to use s32_le. (The most recent one

No, you shouldn't need to do any library switching. I have no idea why
the SB can't find mysqueezebox.com when connected to your regular LMS,
but can when connected via the Touch's built-in LMS (which is what the
USB stick is using). Try rebooting your router to see if that takes care
of the "Cann
I run a Touch with my music on my home PC running LMS.
I also have a USB stick inserted which contains no music but does have
pictures which I use with the slideshow feature on the Touch.
I used to be able to switch seemlessly between listening to music on by
PC (My Music) and the Spotify App. L

Just thought I would share a few observations with regard to Triodes
EDO applet.
First of all a very big thanks for all the work you do Triode, its all
just amazing!!
I use a HFface2 usb to spdif converter with the Touch into an Essensio
DAC via coax, which plays back wav and flac files at 16/

It doesn't make sense indeed!
You are definitely right in saying that but...tempetion is always around
the corner:)

I can confirm that the Eximus DP1 is doing fine with the latest applet
and kernel. However, I still get occasional dropouts with 192KHz flac
coded files, decoding done by SBT. 96KHz files play fine.
