there is anything for Macintosh unless you run it in a windows mode.

Open Lms control panel from lower right tray. (right click the Lms
icon). One of the tabs has a clear cache button. Just clear cache, don't
also select clear settings.

Just leave it Unblocked. If your router is configured properly it will
have all of the security features necessary to keep unwanted people
out.
The LMS block only protects LMS itself. The last thing I'd be worried
about in regards to hackers/internet intruders is my music tastes. ;)

You might try manually clearing the cache before rescanning. I'm a Linux
user so can tell you where to find it on that system, but XP should also
have one floating around somewhere. Deleting the old cache has
periodically been necessary when I've upgraded SBS/LMS.

Somehow doing one or all of the following seems to have solved the
problem:
- returned the Touch to factory settings. I changed the name while I
was in there. resetting this may have been overkill, perhaps one of the
other steps below fixed the problem.

As i said i know nothing had these albums downloaded by a mate who uses
exactly the same files with no issues what so ever all files are the
same wav lossless and album art on them are the same so cant see what
has happened, they did show

I have my music on a MacBook running the server and have the coax out
put going into my Arcam AVR350 which has Wolfsen Dacs and plays 24/96
files quite happily Without the plug in installed
When I used the plug in the music played
