I have just started to use flac files stored on a USB stick with my
Squeezebox Touch.
I used FLAC frontend to tag my files correctly and then inserted the USB
into my Touch.
All works well and the tracks play fine but on the Now Playing screen I

instead of WiFi. The connection seems to be more stable and faster, but

As Tim stated, if you're happy as is then there is no need to buy a
Touch.
However, that said, the main reason to get a Touch would be use the
Touch rather than your current computer/Squeezeplay combo to play your
music. This would mean that you would no longer need a computer as part
of your
Touch is not dependent on quality of sound card in your computer. Also
you can sync with radio.

The Logictech Squeezebox touch controller App is not able to find my
players after upgrade to ios 6. It scans and comes up with an empty
list.
Tried resinstalling the app, rebooting everything (modem, router ),
updated firmware on all four touches I have and no luck.

I currently connect my touch to my hifi using an rca to rca cable (The
hifi only has analogue connectors). Would there be any benefit in
getting a USB Dac or something like this
Not likely that a $35 dac will outperform the Touch's dac.

Given the Touchs incredible value for money a suitable DAC probably cost
more than the Touch itself .
For varius reasons including build quality .
Price and soundqality may be completely uncorelated in the high end
audio bussiness ( you may find stuff in 1$ range that is worse than
the 35$
