Some AAC (mp4) files do not play on my Squeezebox Touch, however work
fine on other devices. Are there some -types- of AAC that will/won't be
compatible?
What is the best (Win7) software for extracting audio file format
information? I'm guessing that might be handy in resolving my issue.

crossover cable or just a plain Ethernet cable to get this working?

With PC on and LMS running I can't connect to mysqueezebox.com
With PC powered off but plugged in starting up SQT causes PC to start
up
With PC unplugged I can connect to mysqb.com and listen to internet
radio but obviously not pc music files

Actually you CAN play a DSD file through a Touch as long as you DoP
encode it. There are a couple different ways out there to take a DSD
file and DoP encode it which producesa 176.4 WAV or FLAC that you can
include in your files that LMS manages just like any other file. This is

done.
At the moment, I have neither DSD downloads, DSD compliant DAC, or USB
connection.
However, for future reference, could you provide some detail about the
ways to DoP encode a DSD download?
