I currently run my SBT into my Benchmark DAC with spdif over coax. With
a 1tb drive connected direct!y to the USB input on the SBT. I will be
getting a Dspeaker Antimode 2.0 (trying room correction), that only has
toslink and USB digital in. I plan on installing EDO, but will lose my
USB input.
I appreciate the help here. I have been using the SBT as a local p!ayer
for a while. It does take forever to scan and load the USB drive every
time I power up, but it has worked so far. Tonight I am going to try to
run high resolution over my WiFi and see how that goes. If I get no
dropouts, I'm

What other solutions should I consider as a local player/server that
might work better? I have three 1tb drives loaded with my library. Two
are backups. I don't update all three live. I load new music on the
primary, then back it up to the other two drives manually. TIA.
Saw this adapter, and thought it might

Is there anywhere I can look to learn how to implement this digital

Can't give you advice about connecting DAC and room correction.
But - first piece of advice is running a "real" LMS (Logitech Media
Server) rather than using the Touch's built-in (and very limited
server).
LMS can be run on a PC (windows, mac, linux), some NAS boxes can run
LMS, and you can even
Can you put the DSPeaker unit between the Touch and the Benchmark using
optical? Touch supports up to 24/96 -without- EDO. You'd still be able
to use the USB for your external drive.

Toslink should work for that, but I agree with tcutting - the internal
server was a
