Most likely Catalina blocking access to external disks. You'll have to
grant Perl full access to your file system, as outlined in other
threads. Search the forum for Catalina for details.

[Apols - I think I should have posted the above query in the
mysqueezebox forum, so I have just done this. I could not see a way of
moving or deleting the original post in this Touch forum. Happy for an
admin to zap it!]

Hello, if you're using a PiCore Player or LMS based device, I can
provide you with a favorite list for radio France's FIP web radios.
I use it as well, and LMS allows to stream their best hi fi quality
streams, as well as direct display of current artist+song+cover art
playing.

But that neeeds an extra plug and whatknot and i'm guessing you don't
want that.

Well as bpa referenced, the usb2 is 500ma so maybe the SBT will drive
it.

and it will not be volts that matter (as USB is standard ) but amps.
If Touch cannot deliver enough amps you'll need a hub.

It shouldn't. This poster for some reason had problems with channel 6
and hypothesized that the TOUCH doesn't like channel 6, but there is
nothing inherently wrong with channel 6 on a TOUCH. One of my TOUCH
players is on Channel 6. (of
Thinking of adding the new Schiit Modius dac to my Touch setup, and
would like to power it via USB. Schiit says if the Touch can output 5V
from its USB port then it should work. does anyone know if it can?

Probably a file permissions problem.
Have a quick search in the forum for "Catalina" and see if one of them
solve it.
Or failing that - a Mac user will probably answer here with something
more specific.

Hi,
I'm running LMS on a iMac (OS 10.15). I have two Squeezebox Touch and
everything is connected by ethernet. My music library is on an external
drive connected to the iMac and most files are .aiff. This system has
worked reasonable well for about eight years. However, with the recent
