On the Touch, I think if you go to Settings/Screen/Screensavers and
select "When Playing" you should be able to select "Now Playing".
Hopefully that does the trick?
I also think tapping the screen cycles through various modes of display
while music is playing.

I have used ZyXel powerline ethernet products for various Squeezeboxen
over the years. I also used it for my Boxee box for while before I
eventually ended up running some Cat5 to the room it was in. It has
proven to be very good. The only issue I have had would be dropouts
when certain devices
resorted to rebooting the Touch but will now simply turn
off/on which should make the issue slightly less painful.
It seems to happen more frequently when I stop the music for a while
and leave them sync'ed and then try to restart the music.

Another nice feature for dbpoweramp is the Multi-encode functionality.
It allows you to rip discs in multiple formats if desired all in one
process. I rip my CDs to FLAC for the Squeezeserver and also rip to
MP3 for iPod/portable use.

in the New Music section of SC (which is why I don't
update the date when I update tags). A full rescan should get you back
in business and if you don't mind the New Music issue you could look
into updating the file modification settings in your tagging software
of choice.

The Touch was the perfect interface for installation in my new kitchen.
It sits on the counter and provides easy access to the music. I don't
even keep the remote in the kitchen. My SB3's (along with
Controller/iPeng) work much better for sit-down listening.

Just tried and got Invalid Code. Bummer. Free next day still works.
