I've searched but can not find reference as to whether this is possible?
All my flac files sit on a 2tb Buffalo Linkstation Pro and I'm thinking
that installing SBS on that may save the need to have the current PC
running SBS switched on when listening to music?

I'm still getting the drop outs. Any final ideas to try? I contacted

for HD music files (up to 24bit, 96kHz) but I am
having trouble with occasional drop outs on the ethernet connection
(looses sight of the ports momentarily) whilst the wireless shows no
such issue. Can I go wireless and be confident that sound quality will
not suffer?

connect to ethernet - I can also see the squeezeboxtouch on my router.
However it will not connect to the squeezebox.com server when I search
for my music. Gone back to wireless and all is OK.
So I'm making progress even if I am not quite there yet. Any other
pointers?

Checked diagnostics and it says that TCP port 3483 and TCP port 9000
aren't connected. I've switched off my firewall but it hasn't helped.
Any help appreciated.

correctly see the
squeezebox touch on both ethernet and wireless. It is just that the
squeezebox touch can not see those ports when connected by ethernet.

smug until it dropped the link mid track. Switched
it off and on and it's come back, but for how long?

At present it is running on my PC (but it is not always the PC/laptop
that is on), whilst the NAS is on by default when a PC on the network
is fired up. 2TB Buffalo Linkstation Pro.
