recommend ext3 for best performance, or FAT32 if you need maximum compatibility. Both ext4 and hfsplus modules have been in the kernel tree for a while (2+ years). It's too bad that no kernel updates will be made to the Touch. What kernel is the touch running? -- SuperQ

The defaults are pretty optimal. There's not much to do when decoding FLAC. It either works or it doesn't, just like opening a ZIP file. Some people claim huge differences with the various volume controls, but the defaults are sane. -- SuperQ
