What I always wanted was a decent now playing screen saver with a retro
80's cassette tape, complete with spinning reels and track information
on the label in hand written biro effect.
I would actually pay for that.

The reason i did not use the wall mount i was given on the beta test was
because the hole needs to be very deep, even with the Touch protruding
quite far from the wall already, absolutely no chance with brick walls.
I guess i will hang on to it as a collectors item!

It's very true, most people do seem to think its more essential to have
your AMP/transport etc in a good position than themselves and compromise

Yes, providing the station provides it. Not all stations do. Many
provide artist/track details, but very few provide individual album
covers in the way last.fm, rhapsody, etc do.

Mine is the kitchen and is controlled via the touch screen interface 90%
of the time, its great and very nice to use.
Dont forget there is a distance UI when using the IR remote etc, so it
can be used out of reach. It has the flexibility to be both.

I often do this, whats the point in powering up my server for internet

The one criticism i have with the physical design is the screen size.
Not the size per-say, but the fact the border between the screen and
casing is to big. But it looks far worse in the photos i have seen, it
does look a lot better in the flesh. It a nice looking bit of kit.
