hooked my HTPC to a audio switch which runs to a pioneer
stereo.
As I understand I don't need a receiver with dac for the touch? And
will the sound from my htpc benefit from a buildin dac?
If I could go for the 3390 I can buy the touch a bit faster..

So, if I understand you correctly it would be adequate to use a
analog receiver. But your remark about loosing audio management I do
no get, but maybe you supposed dac was always on?
