When it rains it pours: Based on some of the comments in this thread I
was originally looking at several amps that were unavailable at the
time. Well as of tonight they are now available to order but to be
shipped in June. What I want to do is move my existing amp to my office
to be used with a

When I first got my touch a couple of months ago, I tried that but I
still got a clock. After reading your reply, I just now tried it again.
I still got the clock

I have had my Touch for a few weeks now and have been leaving it on 24/7
but wondering if that is the correct thing to do?
I have seen posts about the power supply getting flakey with age and
wondering if I should kill ac power when not in use?
Do you leave yours plugged in all the time?
I ended up going with this no name amp mentioned earlier in the thread.
I originally wanted a Yamaha but it's covid unavailable. Same with the
other amp mentioned (LOXJIE A30). And I was lucky to get this amp
because the morning after I ordered they were all gone. I ended with
tiny bookshelf

OK I found some very small bookshelf speakers and they should be on the
way soon. Good for 40 watts which is plenty for me.
Now just have to find the amp and I am set. I was going to ask if any
of these smaller amps have tuners but other than internet outage it is
not really needed.
Thanks

Thanks that is what I was looking for. But is it worth it to hold out
for something with digital inputs?
The Loxie looks nice but
Well here is what I am talking about on Amazon. This has to be junk:
Got a new (to me) Touch yesterday and while it was squirrely out of the
box , getting the community firmware updates make it work like new .
Thanks for keeping this alive!
I have not had a proper stereo in many years. I see very inexpensive
rec/amps on Amazon but I am sure there is some kind of

Well that explains why I could not find it! It did prompt me
Ok update on my end:
I got prompted for an update and installed it.
After doing that and restarting the server the message went away and the
touch seems more stable and has not locked up any more.
However I just discovered they have even more updates if you enable the
community update. I have
