Anyone running Touch as an LMS Server? Is it recommended? My NAS drive

Had to change my player in my office from a v3 Classic to a Touch
recently. Is there any way I can set a rating with the remote (with the
classic I could hold down a number 1-10), and also how to display the
rating on the touch screen with the song info?

I've restored factory settings to see if that makes a difference, I had
various apps installed like the enhanced digital output, which it said
wasn't supported and I never got working anyway.

Occasionally after a period of inactivity my Touch seems to go into a
suspended state, blank display, not connected to any LMS server that can
wake it, no response to anything I try on the remote or the touch
screen. I have to physically disconnect it from the power then plug the
power in again in

Strange, I didnt have to do anything to get the rating via remote
keypress to work on the touch, having previously configured it for an
SB3. It doesn't acknowledge the rating change on the Touch display other
than by shifting the display right a fraction for a fraction of a
second, but it does see
Tried this plugin on the one album I have encoded in 24/192, and while
it seemed to be playing, I heard nothing. So for the time being I have
uninstalled it - do I need to restore factory settings to remove the
custom kernel also?
Might try again if anyone could suggest why I heard only silence.

Not without the plugin no - perhaps it's an issue with the encoding of
this one album, downloaded from a dubi
I don't have time to read this whole thread! But is this 192k digital
output (version 0.7) currently working, safe to install, easy to
uninstall, robust, etc? The warning about installation of a custom linux
kernel scares me a bit. I have a Bushmaster Beresford DAC which will
handle 24bit 192k out
Ah that's why I couldn't connect this evening (well, once only, then it
died).
