Well what do you know. I found my old touch IR remote laying around
today, badly leaking batteries in it. Cleaned it up, new batteries, not
working. Tried the same remote on my SB3, works perfectly.
So I Google and find this thread.
Just so I'm up to date, is the current thinking that a 40 kHz r
x27;, they played on the Touch and Radio too.
I still have the original files if anyone wants to look into it.

Unless you specifically set The AAC decoder to disabled in The server
settings Advanced->File Types, then it should be decoding the iTunes
file directly on the touch.

t, but that's a work-around, rather than finding why my Touch won't
play the files that it's specified to support natively.
@garym Was you file a recent iTunes purchase, like in the last 12-18
months?

As I put in my first post, these files are iTunes+ and specifically
unprotected (non-DRM). A further Touch firmware update in the last few
days had not resolved the issue. Current firmware is 7.5.4-r9408.
