So yesterday a nasty virus took out the PC I was running LMS on. So the
PC is now at the repair shop.
I had some of my music collection on a USB stick so as a temporary
measure I stuck that in my Touch to use instead.
The music on the stick plays fine but if I try to use the official
Logitech Sp
Yes but the thing was it was only my pukka CD rips from my own
collection of discs tagged in Flac Frontend that didn't work.
But the theory is correct The Touch was taking the artist from the root
directory name of the USB stick instead of from the Tags.
At least I know what to do now - thanks g

Hi garym - thanks for your interest.
Did as you suggested - installed the Mp3tag program.
Right clicked and chose extended tags got ARTIST : The Beatles, ALBUM :
Anthology 1
...absolutely no sign of the mysterious SDA1 - seem to only get this
when using the USB with the Touch ?

As a further bit of information in Flac Frontend I am using the Tag
Conf. button to manually enter the artist and album names before
encoding the flacs.

OK I have checked using Artist view instead (never used this before) and
what is interesting is that it actually lists SDA1 as an Artist ?
This is strange as when I finished running the Flac Frontend it lists
the aartist tag correctly eg. Paul McCartney etc

All works well and the tracks play fine but on the Now Playing screen I
get the correct track name and folder name but I a
Momo9 Tablet - it is Chinese but works well with Squeeze Commander - you
should find it on eBay for about £80.

It is Windows XP - when I reboot the LMS icon flashes as it loads in the
system tray (takes a good couple of minutes before it says it is
running). However, when I exit the running software and restart with my
Desktop icon it seems to load straight away. The fact that the reboot
fixed my problem s
OK I have now also rebooted my PC and the problem appears to be fixed.
Earlier I had tried exiting LMS and restarting it but this did NOT fix
the the problem. I noticed when you do this LMS reloads quicker than
when it the PC reboots. When I reboot the LMS is flashing for a fair

I run a Touch with my music on my home PC running LMS.
I also have a USB stick inserted which contains no music but does have
pictures which I use with the slideshow feature on the Touch.
I used to be able to switch seemlessly between listening to music on by
PC (My Music) and the Spotify App. L

ought my Touch on the recent £135 offer so with the price of the
tablet included I have a system which I feel betters many high end
streaming solutions for little over £200.

An update - I powered off the Touch by pulling the power cable and tried
it again. This time I got the Radio Station through the Touch - yippee
!
Not sure why it didn't work the first time - thanks guys - this is
going to be really useful !

putting wavin:0 into Tune in URL in LMS but nothing happens?
