I have been using the 7.9 nightlies for while without a hitch. Lately
after some upgrade the display of my 2 Squeezebox Touch became totally
messed up.
When off they won't show the clock anymore, just a black screen.
And when playing something they are stuck on the inner menu of the
Touch. I can n
Hello,
Since I am using EDO the Buffersize cannot be modified and stays at
2ms.
Now I am not sure if these 2 things are connected but that's a fact
now.
Is that ok?
Can I/Should I modify the Buffersize as specified in the TouchToolbox
3.0?
I am using the 7.7.3 Touch firmware.
Any recommendati
Yeah, I heard about the Foobar + plugin solution but, unless I am wrong,
Foobar cannot run on my Readynas Pro unlike the Logitech server.
I doubt those ISOs are still holding the DSD encoded tracks. I suppose
it is PCM at very high bitrate.
There must be a way.

Hello,
Is it possible to read those SACD rips, in ISO format, with a SB Touch?
Maybe a 3rd party plugin?
Thanks

Hello,
Same symptom here on 2 different Touch devices. The clock disappeared on
the first Touch then the other, soon after their upgrade to the latest
firmware.
This has nothing to do with the LMS. My LMS was on 7.7.x when that
happened. I downgraded to 7.6.x release, then upgraded to 7.8.x beta

Ah. A better answer.
Well I do hear a difference. And I am not using the Touch's DAC.
And out of curiosity I will do some research about it.

decompressed in the Touch.
You can check that. Easy.
Only problem is if you use your Touch on a WiFI network.
But on a LAN connection it works fine that way and the difference is

ou think it is possible?
I read that the Toucch can do that and the S/PDIF specs also allow
that.
So why do I get weird slowed down sounds when I try to play those
files?
Thanks

Hi,
Do you mean that in order to be able to use the touch with 24/96 files
I need to stream them as is? Flac for instance?
Mmm, too bad. I am streaming them as PCM as it sounds much better.
Any trick?
