Thank you so much everyone. It was the static and dynamic IP issue. I assigned the NAS a static IP and now it works fine but the Logitech Media Server is a nightmare. It rescans the library even if there's a mild wind outside. You don't get to see the scan progress either as it just says only one

They do it so if you're stupid enough to use WEP (or no) encryption then anyone freeloading on your wireless connection can't get to your wired PCs and, if it supports individual station isolation, your wireless laptop as well. They'll get out to the internet and that's it. I have a separate SSI

The only way a Touch will see the NAS directly is if the NAS is running LMS. Is this NAS box capable of running LMS? In your other setup you had LMS running on a separate computer and THAT server was seeing the NAS and sending the data to the Touch. If you don't have LMS running on another compute
