I have been having the same problems with Touch upgrading when

To me, my Touch is hardware; I treat it the same as my Radio or my

I did wonder about this myself. One reason I didn't follow it up was

The nightly builds are done automatically, even if nothing has changed.
For example, 7.6.1 is showing r33073, built around 2AM last night, even

Can I also downgrade my Touch's firmware? I am running 7.5.0 on a QNAP

Your Touch should also upgrade to 7.5.1 fw when conecting to your NAS
.
Just don't connect to mysb.com afterwards .
You should not need to , radio and services works via the server to if
it has your mysb.com credentials and can reach internet.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do so.
When I go to 'Software update', it just says that it is up to date and
that the newest available version is 7.6 and if I want to install it
again.
Isn't there

Turning off Software Update on SBS is unrelated to MySB firmware
updates and will not affect MySB prompting an update.

I usually turn my computer off every night and when I boot up in the

Is there a way to rectify this?
Thanks.

There's nothing explicit about firmware updates there. They seem to be
server fixes. Is there anything on firmware?

It will (should) stop updates on the player *if* you only connect to
that SBS server. If that server is not updated then the player won't
be updated.
If you connect to MySB.com then you may be prompted to update.
The listed bug fixes and enhancements are part of the firmware where
applicable.
