Could be, but I have not the space to experiment with the placement. I
have now replaced the wireless mouse with a Logitech one and the
problem seems solved, so Logitech seems to use another way to make a
connection than Microsoft does.

I wonder if placing the wireless USB dongle closer to the mouse, such as
plugged into a USB hub on the desk might help. Or, if the wireless
router is near the computer, whether moving the router would help.
Just speculating, but it could be that the lower signal strength of the
Touch may mean it
It's definitely lower: 38% with the Touch, was ca 50% with the SB2. But
the Touch never has any problem playing.
In addition, I think I can confirm the interference with the Mouse: I
changed the microsoft for my laptop mouse (also Wireless, but
Logitech), and the problem seems to have disappeare
What is the reported wireless signal strength with the Touch and what
was it with the SB2?

I suspect the same, wifi interference, but could that be on ALL
channels? Changing the router to a differen channel does not help
(tried 6, 5, 11)
Will try to find mouse specs and try another mouse asap

I'd suspect basic WiFi interference where the two wireless devices are
competing for the same WiFi freq channel.
Try changing the channel your WiFi router broadcasts on to 1 or 6 or 11
(it is likely on ch 6 now).
I'd also see if the USB mouse docs or specs give the specific freq it
uses. The
Already did. Used inSSIDer to locate the channel least used, which in my
case is channel 5. No effect on the mouse behaviour. Wil try channel 11
also, but I don't think the problem will be affected...

I think I'd try setting a different channel on the wireless router. Try
channel 11. If that doesn't help, try channel 1.

I still have this strange issue since I upgraded my SB2 for a SBTouch: I
can hardly use my (wireless) mouse when the SBTouch buffers the music
(when changing a track in the playlist, for instance).
I do not know why this happens, the PC itself must have some 'head
room' (i7 processor, 6GB Ram, W
