Garym, Mnyb thanks for your help. I've sorted it out with foobar and
external flac encoder and managed to convert it flac to flac. Quite
happy now )))

plus I just noticed you are running LMS on a sheevaplug. This perhaps
could be an issue as well as the sheevaplug doesn't quite have the
horsepower and may be struggling. As a test, you can install LMS on a
windows or Mac machine and see if the files stream to
