Another speed/reliability tip for the Touch's USB performance is to have the Touch's SBS server ignore any/all non music files. You can do this in one of two ways: 1. Do use a dual partition, music on P1, all others files on P2. Touch will only see P1. 2. Rename the top level folder(s) contain

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for the help but most of them do cost both money and time; I have no space elsewhere for the stuff that's on the HDD so I can't do any of the format, partition, try small etc. (although I'm ok, because it already is NTFS in a single partition without any tools/util
