Finally cracked the firewall.
Created 6 firewall exceptions, 1 Inbound and 1 Outbound entry for each
of the programs/ports listed in the manual.
All working well now. Many thanks.

is it not more likely to be firewall problems on the server ( port 3483
udp and tcp port 9000 tcp )
or that you simply are conected to mysqueezebox.com ?
what happens if you choose my music on the Touch it should then
switch over to your local server if it can be found.

Sounds like you're connected to mysqueezebox.com instead of to SBS. As
Mnyb suggests, try choosing My Music on the Touch and then connecting
to your SBS.

Do I have
New 'Touch' connected to my wireless network, apps and radio working
well but can't connect to the Squeezebox server and I can't access my
music! The squeezebox server status says 0 players recognized.
I think I've done something wrong with my network settings on the Touch
but can't think what.
