If you are connected to a local server, the time is taken from that
machine - which is naturally assumed to be set to your correct local
time. The timezone setting on the Touch is only used when connected to
MYSB.com.

Hi Phil,
The musicm8 server (by Xiva, a subsidiary of Imerge)uses a Linux OS.
It does not have a Time Zone setting. You manually enter the Date and
Time. See following instruction:
Setting the Date and Time
Open the Miscellaneous menu and click Set date and time.
Set the system date and time
No time zone setting is bizarre. I thought all current Linux distros had
a time zone setting, although not all of them are very obvious. Are you
sure it isn't buried somewhere in an environment variable or timezone
file somewhere.

Aubuti,
I am no techo. I only go by the manual. To set date and time the
instructions are clear. I use the drop-down menus to set date and the
same procedure for time. There is no option for the setting of the
Time Zone that I can see.
I will email and seek advice from the musicm8 support.
I recently upgraded from Squeezebox Classic to Squeezebox Touch. The
swap-over went OK but I have an issue with displayed 'time and date'
when in 'off' mode. I selected show date time when unit in 'off'
(standby).
I live in Australia and our time zone is '+10'. When I point the Touch

Just received my Squeezebox Touch. Very happy.
Only problem is the time. I selected the proper Time Zone (GMT-4.0
Atlantic), but the time is one hour out.
I think it is because it is assuming daylight saving time, which we
don't have here (Trinidad).
I can't find any way to adjust this.
