Yes in this case trancoding is not an option, M$ would not allow this for other OS than windows for WMA lossles. And beside how powerfull is the NV+ ? maybe transcoding is not an option anyhow (to many nas'es are underpowered.) dBpoweramp batch converter then ? or fobar2000 or ... whatever. The

Welcome to the forum :) The Touch can not play WMA lossles by itself. But if you run the server on a Windows machine it should transcode to flac on the fly. Do you have flac.exe installed ? In the web-UI for squeezeboxserver settings > advanced > file types If you scroll down a bit to: Code:
