Ooooh, OK then... Sorry, but I don't know how to do that (change the
Now Playing info).
I just wanted things showing a certain way while browsing through stuff
on the Touch, those settings do that for me.

Sorry 'bout that...
As dasmueller mentioned, the 'Title Format' setting in the 'Interface'
tab of the Server Settings page should do it.
Open the web interface, click Settings to bring up the Server Settings
page, look for the 'Interface' tab and select or add TRACKNUM. TITLE -
ARTIST - ALBUM,

What's even more annoying is, if you go to to the albums, My Music
Albums and then find an album and click right, you get the tracks on
that album, all showing their track number!
Arr!

Hi, I have just added a Squeezebox Touch to my Squeezebox ecosystem and
just connected to LMS 7.7.2 to see that I can't set the Tittle Format in
the same way as I can for my SB3 and Boom.
I currently use TRACKNUM. TITLE - ARTIST - ALBUM on my other players but
can't seem to find a way to display
Have you checked the interface in the advanced settings from the control
panel on your computer ? There is a title format area you could look
at. I do not own a boom or SB3 so cannot look to see what you are
seeing. I have track numbers as part of the track title so they show.

Thanks for the reply.
There is a formatting selection under advanced, but when I add the
TRACKNUM. TITLE - ARTIST - ALBUM to this it makes no difference to the
Touch! It must be possible surely (especially as you see Track No.s!),
just a little frustrating. I'm sure

That's a deliberate omission for unfathomable reason they wanted most

So on the Touch itself there are some limited options but not as
flexible as the sb3 .
Thanks Mnyb, sounds like
Personally I fix this by using iPeng on my iPad as the Touch's screen
visibility is not that great anyway and small .
I usually just show the cover art on the Touch :)
So I just haven't noticed the issue ? But it begs the question why omit
the track nr ? It can however by more cleverly done the

Agreed random can look a bit weird, but somehow I miss the track numbers
when playing an album!
In addition to track number, I also display the YEAR on my SB3. I really
wish the player would have

Agreed, it just feels like a backwards step!
