(And I am not shure what did the trick)
#1 I moved the LMS to a differen server.

I was wrong about the "connection reset" message - it can also be
generated by LMS.

I can't be sure - IRC the message text is generated by the OS as a
result of an error code returned by the network drivers. Is it "local
host" or "localhost" ?
I'm not sure i

I've noticed similar issues over the last 24 hrs using iPlayer -
constant rebuffering, connections which display as connected but no
sound. There's also the new issue that iPlayer listen again listings
are wrongly time-tagged.
Possibly something to do with the new Radio app the Beeb recently

My understanding of the Triode BBC Radio app is that he uses HD streams
(AAC) but maybe I'm wrong.
I'll have a look and see, if I can - one of the problems with the unit
is that it's not easy and doing the same thing twice doesn't always give
identical results.
Thanks for your input - but where'

How can you tell ? MP3 streams are only available with Flash.
To change use the BBCiPlayer plugin settings WebUI
Settings/Plugins/BBCiPlayer/Settings
Change the two preferences se
How do you do that?
Anyway, I think it's using AAC and mp3 (on lower resolution streams)
with no Flash involved.
It worked fine this morning!

"connection reset" problems can be caused by security s/w which decide
they think network connections are suspicious and examine each packet
but sometimes hold onto to packets too long.
To test this - configure the BBCiPlayer plugin to use native protocols
such as AAC or WMA and not Flash/AAC o

Sometimes. At first, always but not so now. Last night (small hours,
actually) I got the message once but some stations (Radio 4 Extra) were
just "dead" (but later so was the version I have on mysqueezebox). Could
this be the BBC?

Yes and no. Was running the Touch on its own when this happened.
Have also had connection problems today. This is with BBC plugin, using
same stations via Favourites was OK.

Today I decided to do some structured testing.
I reset all my players and start playing music at them simultaneously.
To my surprise it all went well!
I played different radio stations, different music from WiMP, and local
MP3 files stored on the server in a mix.
Even some tunes from my old playl
