I've not used the iTunes support in SBS but I have a Java script (NOT
JAVASCRIPT) that puts all the iTunes covers into files named cover.jpg
in the corresponding album folders. A rescan of the library in SBS on
the PC results are good.

Ok.
I have given up on letting my iTunes library to display the artwork.
I would like to re-rip my music so that it works with my Touch and
shows the artwork.
How and what program/file format should I use? Assume I know nothing
about how to do this
garym,
Thank you very much for all the info. I will try to get into it this

also, you might as well add squeezeplay as a software squeezebox
player for your computer. You download it here:

Most of his stuff is in Apple lossless. Is this a format that support
embedded artwork (and is supported by mp3tag)? Or, is iTunes the only
way to display artwork

didn't have any applelossless, but I just converted a FLAC file to
applelossless. I
I have been playing around with iTunes a little and had some (just a few
albums) success within iTunes and on the Squeezebox server but the
artwork has not shown up on my Touch.
I am using apple lossless which I believe is an mp4.
I downloaded mp3tag program but have not had the time to try
so you followed my instructions above and it worked on some albums but
not others? or it works on all albums and you see the artwork on all
albums in itunes and in the web interface to squeezebox, but you DO NOT
see the album art on the TOUCH? Which is it?
And yes, mp3tag will read m4a,aac,
Ed right now I have the Touch connected through my Maverick D1 tube
pre/dac which has two rca outputs and the tube output is going to my
SDA rig and the SS output is going to my whole house system. I am also
mostly controlling the Touch with my laptop in the kitchen for the whole
house sound
I have had a Touch for about a week now and have not been able to get it
to display most of my album Artwork.
I have a Netbook running XP and and my iTunes was imported from a usb
hard drive. Both my netbook and Touch are running wirelessly without
any issues although I could hook them up to
You probably need to embed the artwork into the tracks. If you're using
a Mac, use http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=embedart
