NOT working for me (Ubuntu 14.04, iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2).
I'm not getting the trust loop problem, but I am getting "Unhandled
Lockdown error (-20)" and cannot mount the iPhone in order to upload
photos into Shotwell.
I've tried the suggestion to make the /var/lib/lockdown directory

comes across the inet6 definition in /etc/network/interfaces.
This fails as the VLAN interface was already setup in the inet

ago by reinstalling the printer.
However, I can see how the printer icon looks like if I unckeck the
"enabled" item in the context menu: a "pasue"-like symbol show up over
the printer, and this was NOT the case when the bug hap

experiencing at the same time, but it's extremely frustrating. The same
behaviour seems to have been reported by multiple people, so they are at

Seems like all the default fonts in Chromium browser was reset to
"Abyssinica SIL" after installing Kubuntu desktop. After changing to
"DejaVu Sans" in "Settings->Web Content->Customize fonts.." the fonts

Probably you just needed to Resume (unpause) the printer (right-clicking
the printer in system-config-printer and selecting Enabled or Resume
printer in the cups webinterface) to make it work again, can you try?

3.13.6
Ubuntu 12.10 has hplip 3.12.6 and furthermore Ubuntu 12.10 is end of life.
So please upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04.1LTS or higher and your printer will work out
of the box.

I recently bought a new monitor that shows no banding when looking at
gradients in Windows 8.1 (even after calibration) and under fluxbox but
does in Unity. It's not 16-bit-level-banding but definitively visible
and exaggerated after screen calibration. Not nice when you want

Several fixes have been included in gutenprint and cups, see there change logs,
likely this bug is already fixed. Can you try with 14.04.1LTS, you can test
without installing by using a ubuntu-desktop live cd.
