Hi, if network-manager don't install with dnsmasq-base the wifi hotspot feature
won't work.
Agreed that it should drop to recommends but it shouldn't be removed

I've disabled and also downgraded most 3rd-party repo packages by using APT
Pinning before upgrading Ubuntu and have recorded an 4.5 hour long screencast

I have done some more testing:
1.) I removed all the i386 packages, used for skype and google-earth and did a
'do-release-upgrade -d' -- and it worked.
2.) I rerun the 'do-release-upgrade -

Now we finally have a way to reproduce the bug!
